The Augmented Materials Design Laboratory at POSTECH (Principal Investigator: Prof. Soonho Kwon, skwon@postech.ac.kr) is seeking graduate students (M.S./Ph.D.) and interns to join our team. Our research focuses on advancing the transition toward a sustainable society through computational materials science. We aim to understand complex systems from the atomic scale using simulations and to design novel materials with enhanced functionality. Our work spans a wide range of theoretical and computational approaches, from quantum-mechanical modeling of chemical reactions to large-scale simulations based on classical mechanics, as well as the development of new methodologies tailored to specific research challenges. We welcome applications from prospective M.S. and Ph.D. students, as well as undergraduate research interns. Students interested in our research, graduate programs, or individual consultations are encouraged to contact us at any time.
